Haru-Haru? Believe or not, Jess and I (Dungie) have thoughts of getting a domain for three or four years before we actually purchased our own. When we finally got the chance in 2004, we had a problem picking the name. After listening a beautiful Korean ballad by T named ... Haru Haru, I wanted that name for the domain, and Jessie surpisingly agreed (we usually have trouble agreeing, lol). Haru Haru in Korean means day by day. We have also heard that it means Spring Spring in Japanese. Strange huh?
Our Staffs Members is the reason why Haru Haru is still alive today! So here you can learn a little about the "behind the scene" people who run the show, :) We have had several submitions of graphics/content in the past as well as some former staff members. Thank you for all the help! We really appreciate it and will continue to leave credit for those works so far as they are still being displyed here. Below is a list of our "current" and most permanent helpers behind the network.

Our Past and Current Hosts
2004 - It took us months to hunt down the place to buy our domain and space. Our domain was bought at Netrillium.com for $7.50/year. For space, we bought the Christmas special at Webmanixhosting.com for $15/year (with the help of Duckei). We get 300 mbs for space and 15 GB/month for bandwidth. However, they limited our subdomains to five.
2005 - Our domain was reregistered at Netrillium.com for $7.50/year. After a year of being hosted at Webmanixhosting.com, we grew tired of the constant downtime and problems with the Cpanel. Besides, we were broke and didn't want to pork out money for web hosting. Therefore, Dungie applied for free spacing and bandwidth at Illusionfxnet Webhosting. Fortunately, Haru Haru was accepted, so we get 400 mbs for space and 10 GB/month for bandwidth for free. Again, we were limited to only 5 subdomains.
Of course, free things don't usually last forever, and the free hosting lasted for about four months. Then Illusionfxnet Webhosting asked all of their free users to switch over to a paying plan. However, they gave all the ex-hostees a "$10 off coupon" which was really nice of them. We then purchased Plan Revolution for $15/year. We get 550 mbs of space and 20 GB/month of bandwidth.
2006 - Our domain was reregistered at Netrillium.com for $8.50/year (the price went up). The hosting at Illusionfxnet Webhosting was really stressful and frustrating after they became more commercialized. They couldn't seem to handle of amount of clients they have. There were constant downtimes along with some really bad support services. This hosting place must be probably one of the hardest company to contact a staff. I decided to leave the old hosting server and registered at Tengun. They offer 400 MB space with 10 GB bandwidth for $24/year which is affordable compared to many other hosting companies.
2007 - Our domain was reregistered at Netrillium.com for $8.50/year. Although Tengun offers decent prices and good services, the amount of bandwidth they provided was too little for the domain. The forum alone was enough to give our account an overcharge. We left the hosting server and moved to x3fusion, who offered 512 MB of space and 25 GB bandwidth/month for $23.40/year. So far, their support system proves to be very quick and friendly.
2008 - Our domain was reregistered at Netrillium.com for $8.50/year. It is our fourth continual year with Netrillium, and I am still in love with their support service, very quick and efficent. The server space & bandwidth were renewed at x3fusion. For once, I did not have to switch companies, move serveres, etc. Both are really good companies to work with.
